  • Barbell club is Saturday at 7 AM! Reminder the cost is 20$ per month.
  • Reminder we’ll be doing Friday Night Lights again this Friday! Bring the whole family, we will have a sign up sheet for food and heats later this week.
  • It’s a new month, that means new goals on the goal board!

So any guesses for 18.3? Could we really only see DB’s in the open? Minus the max clean could it be possible? I dunno if i’m all for that, I get we need for DB’s but I don’t understand the obsession. Either way we will have to do whatever The Dave Castro says. Could be a retest?? Maybe some higher skill for gymnastics? Who knows. One thing is for sure, it will be CrossFit. And we do CrossFit everyday so don’t stress too much. It’s just another workout. Most of you are starting to find out that you need to calm the nerves a bit more. Start out slow and pace it so you don’t die out.

Most of you that retest always do better. Part of that is because you are doing the workout again and have a general idea of what and what not to do. But the biggest reason you guys improve is because almost all of you start out SLOWER. Hopefully you can start to understand yourself as an athlete and how slow you need to start out to get a good time. Learn from this kind of stuff and use it in your training more. Sometimes go out recklessly, sometimes ease into the workout and find a groove. Don’t be afraid to mix it up. You’ll find out more about yourself as an athlete and how to attack workouts the more you experiment. Have fun with it!
