This video might be able to help some of you finding it hard to get the HS walk dialed in. As you saw this year, it was in the open. Not saying that we need to do HS walking non stop and that it will come up next year. But the open let’s us know what direction the sport is going and where we should go as well. So if we’re starting to see HS walking in the open, to me it’s saying we need to practice getting upside down more and more. The more comfortable you can get with this. The easier it will be. Remember being able to actually get into this position comfortable is important too. If i’m so stiff I can’t be cozy upside down, chances are walking is out of the picture. So know what steps you need to take to get you to improve and start getting closer to these complex movements.
