Kicking it oldschool today! This is a workout from way back in the day. 2008 CrossFit Games to be exact! And people were cruising on this bad boy! I expect the same out of you guys! Legend has it that the reason people were actually moving so fast on the burpees is because the mats were so freaking hot from the sun being on them all day that you didn’t want to touch them because they’d burn you!
Another crazy story is the weight on the barbell. Back in the day this was considered some crazy weight, and most people said that there was going to be so many injuries after this workout because the weight was way too heavy. Pretty crazy to see how far we’ve come. And now this kind of weight is just the normal weight for a deadlift. Fitness is every changing!
