Friday is here, we’ve done team series workouts the last 2 weeks. It’s time to get back to doing a hero/benchmarks on Friday. This one is a doozy, and will have an open style feeling to it. Remember slow and steady wins the race on this one. Embrace the suck, you know it’s going to happen. That doesn’t mean avoid it and not show up. That means just except that it will be hard, but guess what, life is hard and it’s okay!

**U.S. Army First Lieutenant Omar Vazquez, 25, of Hamilton, New Jersey, assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based in Fort Hood, Texas, died of wounds suffered April 22, 2011, when insurgents in Numaniyah, Iraq, attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his parents Maria and Pablo, sister Marisel, and brothers Pablo and Javier.
