It’s a new month, we need new goals on the goal board

Today we retest a workout we do at least once a year. Many people might enjoy this workout, or many might hate this workout? Not really sure who will avoid this workout, but I’m sure some people out there will.

According to the CrossFit Journal, the 5K Run is the most programmed workout on, it is also most likely the most avoided. I can promise you one thing, if you “cherry pick” this workout and don’t come because it’s running, I will gladly program this again.

We did this months ago when no one showed up for “Karen” and we did it again, but made it worse. The same thing will happen with this 5k. I honestly believe that the whole point of CrossFit is to make you a better person. In fitness and in life. And sometimes that means doing this you may not want to do. As you might know, we have to do things we don’t want to do every single day in life, and that is part of life. This should be no different. Just because you may not want to run doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t. Build some mental strength, do something you don’t want to, become a better person and it will help you when times get tough.

And if you think I won’t program this again, try me 🙂
