REMINDER
It’s a new month, we need new goals on the goal board

Heavy day today! Went long yesterday with just running so today we get to lift some heavy barbells!

The video below is some old school lifting. Nice to see the numbers they hit and what they are capable of now, makes you see that even the best are improving, so that means we should have no problem as well!

Most people struggle with this movement because of the jerk. Find cues for yourself that will help you when this lift starts to get tough. Do you catch it with the front foot not getting out far enough? Then tell yourself to reach the front foot out more of “drop lower”. Do you press it out? Punch yourself under like a snatch, or longer lunge. There’s a cue for anything you do, you just have to find what works for you. Keep in mind you can’t be telling yourself to do a million things. Only 1 cue will work, especially on a fast lift like this! Good luck today and hopefully we can see some PR’s!
